Justin Krauss

Justin Krauss is a Managing Director and the Head of Applied Technology for J.P. Morgan’s Innovation Economy business. Justin leads a team of bankers fostering early-stage, venture-backed applied technology companies across all growth stages, providing deep industry expertise, connections, capital, solutions and services to address their needs. In addition to leading Applied Technology, Justin is an Industry Executive overseeing nine cities across the Intermountain region and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Applied Technology team focuses on companies changing the world through scientific and engineering advances and the intersection of hardware and software including: AI, robotics, Space Tech, semiconductors, autonomous vehicles, industrial technology, networking and IT hardware.

Justin joined J.P. Morgan in 2016 to help build Middle Market banking in the Western Pennsylvania region. Prior to joining the firm, Justin held roles at PNC Bank and Credit Suisse. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and is a founding Board Member of the Pittsburgh Robotics Network.
