Scott Parent

Scott Parent is the Vice President and Field Chief Technologist at Ansys, where he leads digital engineering strategy and customer engagement across the Energy, Aerospace, Industrial, and Semiconductor sectors. Since joining Ansys in 2022, Scott has drawn on his extensive technology and operations leadership background—gained from executive roles at GE, Baker Hughes, and BP—to map and accelerate digital transformation initiatives in global industrial sectors. A Six Sigma Black Belt with a deep expertise spanning multiphysics simulation, robotics, AI/ML, additive manufacturing, edge analytics, sensor technology, and asset health, he also serves on Penn State’s Nuclear Engineering Advisory Council. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine and a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
